The Merced MLRP hosted a virtual workshop for development funding applicants on November 19 to review the project solicitation, application process, eligible project types, and technical assistance resources. ABOUT THE FUNDING OPPORTUNITY
Funding Available:
Up to $150,000 is available per project, and a minimum of $50,000 per project.
Eligible Activities:
Planning - Project management, site assessments, feasibility studies, implementation plan development, and coordination efforts needed to prepare a “shovel-ready” project.
Design - Creating site plans, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and other professional services needed to develop detailed project blueprints and documents.
Permitting - CEQA, obtaining required permits, documentation, and all compliance activities needed prior to project construction.
Application Deadline:
All applications must be received by January 30, 2026; however, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and may be funded prior to January 30 if they meet a designated scoring threshold determined by the Merced Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Agency (MSGSA).
