Merced MLRP Funded Projects 

The following projects represent the multibenefit land repurposing efforts currently underway across the Merced Subbasin. Each project was selected through the Merced MLRP Request for Projects solicitation and approved by the California Department of Conservation for funding. Each transitions irrigated farmland to a less water-intensive use while delivering multiple co-benefits for groundwater, communities, and wildlife.

Implementation projects are advancing into design, permitting, and on-the-ground work, while development projects remain focused on planning and design to prepare future work for implementation.
